PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs collateral responsibilities and required duties as a surveillance operator and a BSA/AML Compliance Specialist – See job description for Surveillance Operator;
Establish and maintain working relationships with the Department of Justice, Bureau of Gambling Control and any federal, state or local law enforcement agency;
Conduct thorough, accurate and concise internal and external investigations as related to compliance issues;
Monitor and review all BSA/AML compliance operational areas and assist in the drafting of sound, effective and operationally efficient internal control procedures that comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
Provide support to the casino and compliance departments as needed. Document incidents and investigations as required;
Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations;
Keep current with all compliance matters as it applies to regulatory requirements, training and consulting with management on new or revised procedures;
Must be able to always exercise good judgement;
Understanding of all phases of gaming operations and regulations and attends training in related fields to keep abreast of the current BSA/AML/ surveillance information;
Handles all investigations in a professional manner and maintains a high level of ethical behavior, communication and rapport with all departments;
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma
Work Experience: One year of surveillance room experience as well as Title 31/BSA/AML.
