We're seeking an experienced Project Controls Analyst to support the design, implementation, and operation of robust program performance management systems across complex, high-impact initiatives.
In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to Earned Value Management (EVM), performance reporting, and trend analysis. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent project controls that meet both internal and external reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
- Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) Management: Contribute to the setup and maintenance of the PMB, ensuring configuration control through Baseline Change Requests.
- EVMS Data Processing & Review: Perform weekly and periodic updates of EVMS data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Program Performance Reporting: Generate detailed reports and trend analyses for internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Coaching & Training: Provide guidance to Control Account Managers and mentor junior team members to enhance understanding of performance management techniques.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and participate in initiatives to refine and enhance program performance management processes.
- Documentation & Knowledge Retention: Support the development of plans, procedures, and work instructions to preserve corporate knowledge and ensure process continuity.
Qualifications- 3 to 6 years of experience in a construction or manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, finance, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Project Control techniques and systems.
- PMP certification, leadership training, and or lean six sigma training are all considered assets.
- Working level skills in EVM systems such as EcoSys, Cobra, or other.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning software such as JD Edwards or SAP, and scheduling software such as Primavera P6.
- Advanced skills in MS Office tools especially MS Excel with programming in VBA considered a strong asset.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
