OVERVIEW
We’re partnering with a leading enterprise organization to bring on an experienced Operational Risk Change Manager to support key initiatives within Operational and Non-Financial Risk.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and can lead end-to-end change management while embedding strong risk and control practices. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to guide change initiatives tied to regulatory, process, and strategic transformation efforts.
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
Duration: 12-month contract (with potential for extension or conversion)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Rate: $88 Incorporated / $77 T4
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and own end-to-end change management activities across multiple initiatives
- Assess and manage change-related risks tied to regulatory, process, and technology changes
- Ensure alignment with non-financial risk frameworks, governance, and policies
- Integrate risk and control considerations into change design and delivery
- Partner with business, technology, compliance, and risk teams to provide guidance and challenge where needed
- Support risk governance, approvals, and reporting for key initiatives
- Balance competing priorities while ensuring timelines and stakeholder expectations are met
- Translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable communication for stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of project management experience
- 4+ years of change management experience
- Hands-on experience working within risk management environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively
- Proven ability to simplify complex information into clear messaging
- Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
Nice to Have
- Prosci Change Management Certification
- PMP Certification
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Experience presenting to senior/executive stakeholders
