The role will have a combination of recurring work and ad hoc tasks, analysis and project-based work, supporting finance leaders with projects and process improvements across the entire finance organization. The position will also play a key role supporting our finance management system, strategic planning and change management.
Analyze monthly consolidated results and provide insights into variances and key performance indicators/ratios. Run the monthly financial consolidated reporting package and ensure updates are communicated in a timely manner.
Board reporting – prepare and coordinate financial results for the quarter board report, ensure accuracy of the data and information in the board deck. Run financial tables and analyze results presented to executives.
Provide supplemental IFRS analysis, reviews, and accounting memos as needed.
Quarterly reporting and reviews for the organization and corporate finance department.
Entity-change requests – Reviewing and consolidating System Administration changes including legal entity and management entity dimension updates.
Strategic planning reporting and insights.
Proactively identify new areas of investigation or opportunities for improvement.
Ad hoc projects as desired or requested.
Education and Experience:
4 plus years with progressive experience. Software industry experience is a plus.
Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA Strongly preferred.
Ability to establish credibility with senior leaders.
Comfortable with ambiguity and limited oversight.
Able to work independently and seek out guidance and learning/development opportunities from colleagues.
Proven research, analytical, and financial modelling skills. Highly competent in excel.

Location: Markham. Hybrid, and required to be in office 2x/week
