What You’ll Be Doing
 
The Sr. Program Manager, Corporate Security Education & Awareness will play a critical role in advancing the security strategy and strengthening organizational resilience. This position is responsible for leading initiatives that assess and enhance security practices, supporting executive reporting, and driving programs that improve preparedness and risk awareness across the enterprise. This involves working closely with leadership to develop insights that shape decision-making and ensure security priorities are aligned with business objectives. This position also oversees cross-functional activities that promote the visibility and effectiveness of Corporate Security. This includes managing governance processes, supporting communications to internal and external audiences, and coordinating with teams to deliver on key security initiatives.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. 
 
How You’ll Succeed

  • Program Leadership – Drive key corporate security initiatives by developing, planning, and executing programs that enhance organizational resilience. Lead exercises, reviews, and cross-functional initiatives that help identify risks and strengthen the security posture of the organization.
  • Communication and Reporting – Translate complex security insights into clear, actionable communications for senior leadership and other stakeholders. Deliver concise reports, executive updates, and recommendations that influence decision-making and align with corporate priorities.
  • Stakeholder Relationships – Build and maintain strong relationships across Corporate Security and with business partners. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding stakeholder needs, aligning initiatives to business objectives, and fostering collaboration across functions.
  • Governance and Process Improvement – Oversee governance activities and contribute to continuous improvement by streamlining processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring security programs are delivered consistently and effectively.
