What You’ll Be Doing
The Senior Analyst will provide analysis, expertise and support on all areas pertaining to Treasury/Global Markets Funding Allocation Model (FAM). FAM is the mechanism used to transfer price the appropriate cost of funds to Global Markets. The incumbent will support the Director in the continued optimization and enhancement of the existing Global Markets’ fund transfer pricing model and develop an extensive knowledge of business’ products/strategies.

How You’ll Succeed
- Technical Expertise - Publish and distribute a daily FTP report to Global Markets. Be one of the primary liaison for Treasury on all aspect of FAM and work alongside Global Markets (GCF, EQ, EM, Commodities and RMG) on assessing current/future trade structures that will impact the cost of funds raised through wholesale funding. Develop a good understanding of Global Markets’ strategies and in-depth knowledge of trading products in order to provide an accurate assessment of the liquidity impact. Work closely with businesses and Finance team to determine the appropriate secured and term unsecured pricing based on the HQLA classification of trading assets. Collaborate with Businesses, Finance and Technology teams to refine the Transcend/Kojak solution used to handle daily FTP.
- Strategic Development - Support the development of the strategic direction and implementation of projects to support continuous improvement in Global Markets’ fund transfer pricing, including establishment of technology requirements, reporting framework, calculation methodology/standards, and documentation requirements. Promote an environment where innovative solutions are employed to ensure efficient, timely problem resolutions, which meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Relationship Management - Build strong relationships with our internal stakeholders by providing your subject matter expertise to inform and support decision making. Partner with Global Markets businesses to handle day-to-day enquires and issues pertaining to FAM and Data Management Team to resolve data issues in order to ensure the accuracy of all liquidity reports.

- You can demonstrate experience in using Microsoft Excel. It’s an asset if you have experience coding using VBA for Microsoft Excel. Minimum of 3 years of Banking experience preferably in a Treasury, Finance or Risk role. Strong mature personality with ability to comprehend and interpret complex requirements, to translate these into practical steps and to organize and direct their implementation. Strong knowledge of Basel III standards in relation to key liquidity reporting metrics: primarily the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), while knowledge of the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCCF) is an asset. Excellent written and communication skills and extensive experience preparing high quality presentations for senior executives.
