The CFO Group’s Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Program is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager to spearhead our efforts in managing risk, ensuring compliance, and fostering innovation. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a high-visibility role where your expertise will shape the future of our compliance framework.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the design and maintenance of RCM processes, ensuring alignment with RBC’s RCM Standards and policies, keeping documentation current and tools accessible for all CFO Group members.
  • Oversee regulatory requirements, providing guidance on impact assessments, controls, and risk evaluations across regional risk areas.
  • Identify emerging risks, proactively embedding new risk areas into the RCM Program to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
  • Interpret Enterprise Compliance requirements and RCM policies, offering expert advice to CFO Group teams worldwide.
  • Champion 2nd line assurance by designing and executing quality reviews, monitoring, and oversight processes to meet RBC’s standards.
  • As the 2nd Line Assurance lead, design, implement and execute quality review, monitoring and oversight processes to ensure CFO Group processes, controls and documentation standards meet RBC expectations.
  • Deliver best-practice training on regulatory compliance management to CFO Group risk areas.
  • Work closely with CFO Group, Enterprise Compliance, and RBC Functional teams to share insights, address jurisdictional differences, and enhance risk controls.
  • Identify and address emerging regulatory compliance risks, driving innovative solutions to improve risk management processes.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or accounting/finance.
  • Deep knowledge of the functions oversight/reliance model in regulatory compliance.
  • A proven track record as a valued advisor with the ability to provide constructive challenge.
  • A drive for impact and innovation, paired with strong project and business execution skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to developing yourself and others while embracing and driving change.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • CPA or equivalent accounting designation.
  • Strategic mindset with experience in strategy development and process design for compliance programs.
  • Prior experience in 2nd Line Assurance roles.
