You will lead a highly specialized quality control team, applying advanced analytics, process improvement, and operational risk management to strengthen processes and elevate client and employee experience. This role offers direct visibility to senior leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence the design of the future-state of operations within the New Account and Documentation function.

What will you do?

  • Lead a team of Operations Associates and Specialists with CIRO registration, ensuring consistent and high-quality processing while fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous learning and operational excellence.

  • Proactively distill complex operational and client challenges into actionable insights that inform business priorities, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to New Accounts & Documentation leadership and cross-functional partners, owning the identification and resolution of operational risks, pushing thinking beyond current-state operations, and articulating solutions that drive strategic value, efficiency opportunities and ROI.

  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis on reconciliation breaks and data discrepancies across all processes, proposing scalable solutions to strengthen processes and enhance risk controls.

  • Partner with operational teams, technology, risk, compliance, legal and business stakeholders to design and implement effective control enhancements and process automation initiatives.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VBA, Macros) and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling business stories and recommendations

  • Experience presenting to senior and executive leadership teams with the ability to influence decisions and drive changes at all levels

  • Outcome oriented, problem solver who can synthesize information and business processes into clear impacts and benefits, with focus on delivering business value

  • Proactive problem solver, not just identifying problems, but driving solutions forward with strategic thinking and a deep understanding of Wealth Management business priorities and client experience implications

  • Effective people management leadership and passion to mentor and develop talent

  • Self-starter, strong business acumen, client focused with strong knowledge of the Wealth Management industry and an understanding of the impact of business strategy, regulatory changes and new product innovations on operational processes
