We're seeking a strategic leader to drive business intelligence and analytics excellence within our Finance and Actuarial agile squad. In this hybrid leadership role, you'll blend strategic oversight with hands-on expertise, delivering impactful analytic solutions while building and inspiring a high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering analytic and dashboard solutions in a hybrid role including team leadership and as an individual contributor. This role demands a high level of collaboration across teams which also includes working in an agile squad framework. You are experienced in analytics and dashboard development and able to manage complex reporting projects independently while raising up those around you to do the same.
What will you do?
Lead business intelligence strategy for Finance and Actuarial teams: Provide strategic direction and execution on BI and analytics initiatives that drive financial clarity and actuarial insights, ensuring our reporting and analytics capabilities support critical business decisions.
Provide leadership on semantic layer innovation: Lead the vision and implementation of agentic semantic layer solutions that automate and intelligently respond to business queries.
Team Leadership: Lead and support a small team of 3 to 4 analytic and report developers. Be responsible for driving employee satisfaction, capability development and engagement including all typical managerial functions (e.g. goal setting, performance management, coaching, etc.). Foster a culture of continuous learning and develop talent.
Balance technical leadership with hands-on contribution: Lead and/or contribute to project initiatives, provide analysis and reporting solutions to end users while contributing as an agile squad member. Communicate to and influence stakeholders through storytelling.
Collaborate cross-functionally: with other data experts (e.g. data engineers) and business partners (e.g. Finance, Sales, Product, Claims) to drive the highest value work at pace while managing multiple priorities, ad-hoc requests, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Haves:
Business Acumen: Financial services knowledge, stakeholder storytelling, cross-functional collaboration
Technical Expertise: 5+ years analytics/BI delivery, Tableau proficiency, cloud/data engineering/AI foundations, able to build and solution for modern agentic semantic layer integration
Strategic Leadership: BI strategy execution, semantic layer/agentic AI thought leadership, roadmap translation
Team Leadership: 3+ years managing analytics teams, talent development, full people management scope
Education – Quantitative degree or equivalent professional expertise
Nice-to-Haves:
Insurance/Financial Domain Expertise: related certifications and/or insurance product knowledge
Additional Competencies: agile/squad experience, entrepreneurial mindset, continuous learning orientation, experience working in a large & highly matrixed organization

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$105,000.00 - $155,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
