Senior Analyst, Treasury and Corporate Finance

Role Purpose:

The Senior Analyst, Treasury & Corporate Finance will support the Senior Manager, Treasury & Corporate Finance by contributing to business development projects, treasury functions, and investor relations. This role is responsible for leading analysis and providing key insights for business development projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, as well as ensuring accurate and timely financial projections and analysis to support treasury and corporate finance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and prepare business development project financial modelling as required.
• Lead and perform ad hoc commercial analysis and support as required.
• Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow projections and analysis.
• Prepare debt covenant reporting, analysis and projections.
• Responsible for ad hoc internal financial modelling and analysis.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc internal executive reporting/analysis as required.
• Coordinate with internal management/finance team to prepare internal/external board reporting.
• Prepare reporting/analysis for head office and shareholder requests.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and an accounting designation (preferred but not necessary).
• Min 3 Years’ experience in a finance, business development or treasury role.
• Strong knowledge of treasury and accounting.
• Strong working knowledge and ability in Microsoft Excel, particularly around building financial models.
• Ability to build and manage relationship with stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.
• Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries.
