What is the Opportunity?
Join a dynamic digital transformation team within Digital Marketing to transform RBC’s largest digital storefront to deliver exceptional experiences and customer value. The Manager, Digital Content Governance & Technical Compliance will focus on providing technical expertise to enable domain consolidation and help manage the enterprise framework of our digital properties as we transition to a Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
Collaborating cross-functionally, you will translate business needs into technical requirements and safeguard structural integrity of our enterprise digital framework.
What will you do?
Provide technical expertise and oversight on the enterprise framework covering content lifecycle, component library, and release and access controls.
Establish a single source of truth for all domains, sub-domains, and URL taxonomy, enforcing naming conventions, retiring rogue/legacy domains, and help maintain an authoritative inventory of every page, asset, owner, and access right.
Embed digital governance in DXP as well as the content publishing workflows, including pre-publish checks, automated approvals, audit logs, aligning governance policies with emerging channel innovations to accelerate safe-to-launch timelines and embedding compliance “by design” into every new channel capability.
Identify, report and help mitigate technical and operational risks throughout the product lifecycle, including third-party script and cookie governance synced with vendor-management processes.
Oversee content and component standards, review processes, accessibility, tone of voice & brand compliance.
Create and maintain an authoritative inventory of every page, asset, owner, and access right; reduce and/or remove orphaned, duplicate, or outdated content.
Maintain technical integrity across front end and back end digital assets including SSL, cookie compliance, redirects.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Bachelors degree or College diploma in Business/Marketing/Technology.
Digital-first mindset and work ethic.
5+ years of digital marketing experience.
3+ years of experience leading digital sites.
3+ years of experience in building/managing DXP platforms such as AEM or product development.
Exceptional client, project and vendor management skills.
Strong collaboration, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient knowledge and understanding of digital security standards.
Proficient knowledge and understanding in information technology platforms and integrated systems.
Nice-to-have:
Good research and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO.
Experience with content, usability and information architecture, accessibility, privacy.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Ecommerce marketing or digital product ownership experience.
Agency experience.
Experience working with a wide variety of digital marketing SaaS tools/products.
