What is the opportunity?
The successful candidate has a proactive & strong analytical and data mindset. You can proactively manage relatively complex reporting projects and data analysis independently and act effectively as a consultant with our internal partners. Your expertise in data visualization, data analytics and proficiency in Tableau will enable us to enhance the quality of our data-driven business decisions. As a hybrid remote/in-office position you will directly report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Reporting & Insights fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Knowledge of financial data would be an asset.
What will you do?
Design, build and implement visually appealing and intuitive dashboards including a high level of complexity that serve as both self-serve sources of information and supports the analytical insights required to drive data-driven business decisions
Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns and insights using a variety of analytical methods and translate them into prescriptive output. Communicate data insights through storytelling to a varied audience from front-line managers to executives
Work within an agile operating model as a contributing member of an agile squad. Contribute to the minimization of technical debt through process optimization.
Work closely with the data engineering team to produce well-governed datasets that will enable reporting, data analytics and Tableau workbook performance optimization. Contribute to semantic model design and development.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders as a subject-matter-expert on data visualization and analytics. Recommend reporting and analytics solutions while driving a positive internal client experience
Investigate and resolve data & reporting issues and solution ad-hoc requests
What will you need to succeed?
Must have:
Expertise in Tableau or related tools such as Power BI or MS Fabric
Strength in implementing each phase of the reporting development life cycle, business analytics (exploratory, descriptive, predictive), data exploration using large datasets and semantic model maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills is a must.
Strong communication, and storytelling skills - translate complexity into clarity. Ability to proactively solve & manage data and reporting problems.
Overall positive attitude, supportive of others and a strong internal client satisfaction outlook
Nice-to-Have:
Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a relevant field
Experience working in an agile squad in a large, highly matrixed organization
Financial background and knowledge of IFRS17 data
Insurance knowledge (general knowledge, products, distribution channels)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
