What is the opportunity?
We’re seeking an analytical expert to deliver business intelligence and analytics excellence within our Finance and Actuarial squad. In this hybrid role, you’ll design and build impactful analytic solutions, uncover actionable insights from complex data, and serve as a trusted partner to our internal stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Analytics and Strategic Reporting, you’ll work collaboratively within an agile squad framework to drive data-driven business decisions and enhance our analytics capability.
As a strong individual contributor, you’ll proactively manage complex reporting projects and data analysis independently while acting as a subject-matter expert and consultant to our business partners. Your expertise in data visualization and analytics will enable us to translate data into compelling insights that inform critical decisions.
What will you do?
Design and build analytics solutions: Create visually compelling and intuitive dashboards as well as other data solutions that serve as self-serve information sources and support analytical insights. Deliver high-complexity solutions that drive data-driven business decisions.
Uncover and communicate insights: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities using a variety of analytical methods. Translate findings into prescriptive output and communicate insights through storytelling to audiences ranging from front-line managers to senior managers
Contribute as an agile squad member: Participate actively in agile squad collaboration.
Partner with data engineering: Work closely with data engineers to ensure well-governed datasets that enable reporting performance and analytics excellence. Contribute to semantic model design and development.
Support ad-hoc analysis: Investigate emerging questions and deliver timely insights to support business needs.
What will you need to succeed?
Must-Haves:
Technical expertise: Proficiency in Tableau or related business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, MS Fabric); strength across the reporting development life cycle, exploratory and descriptive analytics, data exploration with large datasets, and semantic model building
Analytical foundation: Strong problem-solving skills with ability to investigate and resolve complex data and reporting challenges independently
Communication & storytelling: Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
Collaboration mindset: Proactive, supportive approach to partners and internal clients; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education – Quantitative degree or equivalent professional expertise
Nice-to-Haves:
Insurance/Financial Domain Expertise: related certifications and/or insurance product knowledge
Additional Competencies: agile/squad experience, entrepreneurial mindset, continuous learning orientation, experience working in a large & highly matrixed organization

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$67,000.00 - $110,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
