We are hiring for a Full-Time Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Specialist at our Operations Office in Stony Plain, AB.   The Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining proactive programs that protect company assets and reduce losses. This role ensures compliance with Loss Prevention, Health and Safety, and Food Safety policies across all stores, while fostering a culture of awareness and accountability. The Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Specialist collaborates with store teams and leadership to implement preventative strategies, monitor program effectiveness, and respond to incidents, contributing to the overall safety and operational integrity of Freson Bros..   Job Duties/Responsibilities:  Develop, implement, and audit Loss Prevention and Asset Protection policies, procedures, and training programs. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and coordinate security system implementation. Investigate store incidents and manage third-party insurance verification. Conduct and document investigations into theft, property damage, disturbances and financial anomalies. Coordinate with outside agencies and authorities on investigations. Manage, evaluate, and maintain all physical security systems (Alarm, CCTV, Access Systems) through regular testing. Coordinate service provider installation, repairs, and maintenance, and manage security documentation. Monitor the cost and effectiveness of store Security Guards and armoured vehicles. Manage reporting/CCTV databases and prepare documentation for insurance claims and legal proceedings. Report store visit findings.   What you Bring:  Education in Security, Law Enforcement, or a related field (degree or diploma preferred) Practical knowledge of retail store environments and operations Ability to balance multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work fully in-office independently or as a team Strong Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite skills, and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs Ability to travel throughout Alberta as required Clear criminal record and credit check required Willingness to undergo ongoing Loss Prevention and Asset Protection training/ education. Experience in food retail is an asset Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.   #FBOPS
