HART Shuttle Driver (Casual)
Location: 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops, BC
Schedule: Casual | Days, Evenings, Weekends | On-Call Shifts |Flexible Schedule
Operate a fleet vehicle during 12-hour on-call standby shifts
Safely transport personnel and equipment between designated locations
Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes when scheduled
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, fueling, cleaning, and reporting
Maintain vehicle readiness and a safe environment for passengers
Navigate city and rural roads, including in challenging weather conditions
Provide professional, respectful service while working independently
Valid Class 1, 2 or 4 Driver’s License is required
Clean driver’s abstract (submitted with application and annually)
Ability to clear criminal record, drug, and alcohol testing
Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional with a safety-first mindset
Ability to work independently with changing schedules
Comfortable with rural and winter driving (asset)
Previous taxi or shuttle driving experience (asset)
Casual role with flexible scheduling (ideal for those seeking on-call work)
Company phone provided during shifts (vehicle remains on site)

12-hour standby shifts:
8 regular hours at $20/hour
4 additional hours at $30/hour
Overtime at $40/hour for shifts exceeding 12 hours
