What You'll Be Doing
As the Director, AI Enablement, Enterprise Advanced Solutions, you'll be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for agentic AI and advanced AI applications across CIBC's enterprise lines of business. You'll focus on guiding business units in their AI strategies, developing high-impact use cases—including autonomous agents, intelligent automation, and GenAI-powered workflows—and enhancing AI platforms that drive measurable improvements in revenue growth and operational efficiency. This role will contribute to CIBC's transformation by leading the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI initiatives that align with the bank's growth objectives and enhance both client and employee experience.
You'll work in close collaboration with technology teams, business leaders, risk and compliance partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of enterprise AI products and solutions. This role reports to the Head of Enterprise AI Platforms and Solutions, where you'll have direct product ownership responsibility for platform functions and agentic AI capabilities supporting your assigned lines of business.

How You'll Succeed
Define and execute the product strategy – Define and execute the product strategy for agentic AI and advanced AI applications across enterprise lines of business, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall growth objectives and client/employee experience enhancement.
Collaborate with the Head of Enterprise AI Platforms and Solutions – Ensure cohesive and integrated AI strategies across the organization, contributing to the evolution of CIBC's enterprise AI platform (CAI) and related tooling.
Develop and prioritize advanced AI use cases – Identify, design, and prioritize use cases spanning agentic automation, GenAI workflows, intelligent document processing, knowledge management, and AI-assisted decision-making—ensuring they meet business needs and drive measurable value.
Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap – Ensure they align with the strategic goals of assigned enterprise business units (e.g., Wealth Management, Capital Markets, Commercial Banking, Operations, or other LOBs).
Work closely with technology teams, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders – Ensure the successful delivery, integration, and adoption of AI products and solutions, including enterprise platforms, agent frameworks, and productivity tools.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI applications – Leverage adoption metrics, knowledge dashboards, and user feedback to make data-driven decisions that enhance platform functionality and effectiveness.
Ensure compliance – Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI, PIPEDA, AIRAP/AIRA) and internal policies in the development and deployment of AI solutions, partnering closely with risk, legal, and privacy teams.
Provide thought leadership and guidance – Provide thought leadership on agentic AI, LLM architectures, emerging AI technologies, and best practices to business units, executive stakeholders, and cross-bank forums.
Manage the budget and resources – Manage the budget and resources allocated for AI projects within your portfolio, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds through disciplined business case development and vendor management.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement – Champion the exploration of new AI technologies, agent-based methodologies, and automation paradigms to drive enterprise-wide business growth and operational excellence.
Who You Are
Strong understanding of AI technologies – You have a deep understanding of GenAI, agentic automation, LLMs, machine learning architectures, and their application within the financial services industry. Experience with enterprise AI platforms and agent frameworks is a strong asset.
Proven experience in product management – You have the ability to lead AI products from conception through pilot to enterprise-scale launch, including navigating risk assessments, compliance gates, and vendor partnerships.
Excellent communication and leadership skills – You have the ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse stakeholder groups, from C-suite executives to frontline technology teams.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset – You are focused on delivering high-quality AI products and solutions that meet client and business needs, with a bias toward measurable outcomes.
Ability to navigate complex, regulated environments – You can manage multiple priorities effectively across cross-functional teams, governance frameworks, and enterprise-scale delivery programs.
