What you’ll be doing
As a Data Analyst Co-op you will apply your knowledge and experience of data modelling to solve challenging business problems and bring innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with senior team members regarding BI and data analytics platforms for the organization. You’ll work with real world structured and unstructured datasets to produce end-to-end solutions, taking models from experiment to deployment. Additionally, you'll be exposed to various groups across the organization through collaboration and coordination on projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
At CIBC Innovation, we are building the bank of the future. As a Research & Strategy Co-op you will support the team by analyzing different trends in technology. You’ll present your findings to senior management through creating excellent decks and support with drafting executive briefings. Additionally, you’ll be exposed to the lifecycle of various projects as a result of your research efforts. In this role, you’ll attend various events hosted by the team educating others on emerging trends in technology.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
