We are currently seeking a Corporate Finance & Tax Analyst to join our team at our head office located in Kitchener. Reporting to the Group Finance & Tax Manager, the Corporate Finance & Tax Analyst supports corporate treasury, financial reporting, tax and transfer pricing compliance, and cash flow forecasting while assisting with month-end close, audits, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day banking (transaction record-keeping & bank reconciliation; book journal entries, clear cheques, pay invoices)
Preparation of initial draft of month end close bank reconciliation
Provide assistance in completing month-end journal entries and account reconciliations relating to corporate treasury
Prepare monthly corporate P&L analysis
Assist with the recording of corporate payroll and related duties
Support the preparation of a quarterly consolidated rolling thirteen-week cash flow forecast
Assist with the calculation of the monthly transfer pricing charges and maintaining contemporaneous documentation
Provide support for the preparation of annual transfer pricing documentation and compliance filings
Prepare schedules related to various tax filings such as HST returns, corporate income tax returns and SR&ED claims
Assist with tax provisions, filings and other adhoc duties
Serve as the backup for EFT and ACH payment processing, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of upload templates, coordinating bank submissions, initiating wire payments, and maintaining proper documentation
Participate in the preparation of the annual operating plan (AOP) for corporate division
Support the external audit process by coordinating the collection of documentation, preparing supporting schedules, and assisting with auditor requests on an annual basis
Our ideal candidate:
Undergraduate Degree with a major in accounting
Two years of accounting experience within the manufacturing industry an asset
Expert skills in in MS Excel and proficient experience with standard office software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and apply professional judgment.
Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Details:
Salary range: $70,000 - 85,000

Hours of Work: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday
