What you’ll be doing
As a member of the Credit Processing Services, the Consultant, Operations Management will work with our CCLO (Corporate and Commercial Loan Operations) Management team to support day-to-day operations for supported geographic locations (US, Canada, UK), within Credit Processing Services (CPS), Commercial Banking, Wealth Management and Capital Markets. The incumbent will assist in the resolution of routine and non-routine operational problems or issues by investigating, analyzing and providing an informed and independent opinion or recommendation. Consultant will also contribute to the delivery on transformation initiatives such as workflow research and evaluation, process changes and procedural updates. Consultant will use independent judgement to determine methods and approaches to work, assisting on projects to develop and implement policies and procedures. Acting as a resource integrator, the Consultant will provide input on the development and implementation of policy and program initiatives. You will liaise with internal CIBC departments and external partners, including CPS Credit Monitoring , Agent Banks, Treasury, Finance, Cash Management, Relationship Managers, Internal Audit, Business/Risk Management, CPS Control, and external regulatory bodies. Consultant will also provide technical guidance and advice to more junior analysts.
