What you'll be doing
As a member of the Client Strategy team in Capital Markets, the Associate, Marketing Client Strategy will work with the team to assist with the production of various marketing assets and assist with the execution of various marketing programs, working very closely with the Wealth Solutions team. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that provides extensive exposure to the Capital Markets business. You have demonstrated ability in bringing creative concepts to fruition with strong attention to detail. The Associate, Marketing Client Strategy is focused on producing high quality work to help enhance CIBC Capital Market’s brand and client experience.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $75,870 to $100,000.
The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.
In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

How you’ll succeed
Digital Marketing Strategy – Planning and development of marketing programs to support the ongoing growth of our Wealth Solutions products, including Canadian Depositary Receipts (CDRs) and Structured Notes. Support the development of marketing content production and publication. Development of marketing collateral (brochures, newsletters, etc.). The production and publishing of digital content on the website and enhancements to achieve optimal SEO and AI related search. Planning for and the execution of marketing programs including direct marketing programs including email marketing (leveraging a marketing platform, i.e. braze), social media marketing and SEM.
Marketing Reporting & Analytics – Production of monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting for marketing, related activities (website traffic, email campaigns, etc.) and ad hoc analytics requests. Competitive intelligence gathering, providing reporting on competitive activity and relevant insights.
Continuous Improvement – Supporting the activities that help the team run better and more efficiently. Propose and implement recommendations to streamline processes, in order to increase efficiency and reduce potential for errors.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience. 5 years+ experience in a Digital Marketing or Marketing Strategy role. You have demonstrated experience in executing marketing campaigns and seeing creative concepts come to life. You have the ability to manage the development of a broader range of marketing assets and experience in financial services marketing. Proficiency with various analytical and marketing platforms including Excel, braze, Google Analytics, Google Adword, LinkedIn, etc. Strong knowledge and/or experience working in the investment products and services and capital markets is a strong asset.
You have a degree. In Marketing, Communications, and/or related field.
