What You'll Be Doing

As an Associate in the Wealth Solutions Group at CIBC Global Markets, you'll play a key role in distributing a diverse range of equity- and rate-linked structured products to investment advisor networks across Quebec. You'll initiate and nurture client relationships through outbound and follow-up calls, generate value-added ideas, and conduct client meetings and presentations. You'll work collaboratively with CIBC infrastructure groups, including product engineering, advisory, and trading, to ensure seamless communication and support. Together with other marketers, you'll help develop tailored solutions, facilitate timely execution, and provide up-to-date product and rate information to clients. You'll deliver exceptional service to existing buyers and support colleagues in daily desk operations.

How You'll Succeed

  • Attention to Detail – Maintain a meticulous focus on details that impact pricing and enhance the overall client experience.
  • Creativity and Service Excellence – Use an innovative approach to develop bespoke solutions tailored to each client’s needs and deliver exceptional service.
  • Continuous Learning – Utilize internal and external resources to expand product knowledge and stay current with trends in finance and AI.


Who You Are

  • You have relevant experience. You bring experience from related industries and are passionate about financial markets. You have a strong understanding of the current market environment, structured rates, and equity derivatives. A background in accounting and finance is an asset.
  • You hold a relevant degree. You have an undergraduate or master’s degree in commerce, finance, or STEM. Progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is considered an asset.
  • You put our clients first. You engage with purpose to find the right solutions. You go the extra mile, because it's the right thing to do.
  • You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. You easily adapt to new tools and trends, and are proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
