RBC GAM Women in Asset Management Summer Student Internship

What is the opportunity?
The RBC GAM Women in Asset Management Summer Internship Program offers an unparalleled opportunity for undergraduate students to gain experience within the Global Asset Management industry in Canada. In this summer analyst role, students will support the North American Equity team in research, stock selection and portfolio construction.

What will you do?

  • Example:
  • Conduct equity research on specific companies
  • Contribute to company scenarios to illustrate potential share price outcomes
  • Build reports and monitor portfolio construction – learn to incorporate quantitative and technical analysis
  • Explore ESG and Impact Investing topics relevant to GAM strategies and holdings
  • Interact with various groups in the firm – Investment Management, Individual Investor, Institutional, Operations and Technology

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Eligibility to participate
  • Desire to learn and eagerness to make a meaningful contribution to the team environment at RBC Global Asset Management
  • Track record of outstanding academic achievement
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically strong excel abilities, VBA skills preferred.
  • Collaborative, team player

Nice-to-have:

  • Curious about capital markets, business and investing
  • Participation in diverse extracurricular activities
